As part of an ongoing process to standardize the forms used in the courts throughout the State of Illinois, the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice has approved a financial affidavit for use in all divorce, paternity, and family law court cases. The new Illinois financial affidavit stands to replace older documents, such as the Cook County Rule 13.3.1 Disclosure Statement, and seeks to bring uniformity and consistency to the divorce, paternity, and family law processes throughout the State of Illinois. The new Illinois financial affidavit is required to be accepted in all Illinois courts.
